Success Thought of the Day – 6/29/18: Finish Strong
Today is the last working day of the month and quarter for many people. Some have already started celebrations having accomplished the goals they planned to achieve for those time periods while others have begun to count their losses. In other words, many start the race strong, but not all finish strong.
The month is not over until the month is truly over. You obviously have to play by whatever rules are relevant in your environment, be in your industry, employer timelines, etc., but don’t give up before the time is done. One of the great facts revealed in the book The 12 Week Year: Get More Done in 12 Weeks than Others Do in 12 Months is that more people get more done in the 4th quarter of the year than they do during the full course of the year. Why? Not because they get superhuman powers during that time, but because of their level of focus and commitment increases in the midst of the time crunch.
Amplify your focus and commitment with the time you have, with a sense of purpose and integrity towards doing your best to reach the goals you set out to achieve for this time period!
