James helps leaders achieve sustainable business growth.  He serves on the DeVry University Board of Trustees, is an Executive in Residence at the Kellogg School of Management and is the author of Success on Your Own Terms: 6 Promises to Fire up your Passion, Ignite Your Career and Create an Amazing Life.

James has confronted and overcome major challenges. Born and raised in North Philadelphia, an area that does not inspire its residents to reach success, James struggled to gain self-confidence. He lacked his father’s support, acceptance, and validation; tore his ACL, crushing his football dreams; and did not make it into college as he had planned.  But he had a good work ethic, so he just kept going, eventually returning to complete his Undergraduate and Graduate degree.

He discovered his passion for helping others and found success. During his twenty years in leadership in companies such as JPMorgan Chase, Allstate, and LegalShield, James has created and guided high-performing teams through delivering double-digit growth, mergers and acquisitions, offshoring, outsourcing, startups, and well over 300 partnerships.

In 2018, James transitioned from the corporate sector to be an entrepreneur and lead his non-profit, The Corelink Solution.  The Corelink Solution is leading a “head and heart” mission, delivering training focused on authentic career development and leadership, along with the creation and curation of supportive media. The leadership facilitation work he delivers as an entrepreneur allows him to fuel the non-profit.

James Rosseau is a highly engaging speaker that brings the audience into the conversation. James spoke to our students about the fast-changing workforce, including the influx of millennials, innovation and several topics that resonated with our Executive MBA students. The student population consisted largely of senior-level executives who manage large teams.

Our students gained strategies and implementation recommendations that would be useful in their day to day work. James also spent time discussing the importance of finding your passion at any stage of your career, providing easy to follow action steps for finding your passion. We were very fortunate to learn from James and look forward to hosting him again in the future.

Working with James was a great experience! James took the time to really understand what our ERG was looking for and spent a lot of time preparing to ensure that the virtual webinar was not only inspirational but also enjoyable and engaging to our audience.

His customization of the presentation to the group truly made a difference and made his message that more impactful!

The best part of all of this is that he delivered! His message was on target and the members are still raving about his presentation!

James is a dynamic speaker. He had the audience completely raptured with his energy, poise, and creativity.

James took us on a journey, made us laugh, and provided the group with a captivating experience and compelling insights.

Senior Program Director, G100

James provided a refreshing take on how to manage a multi-generational workforce, with HR leaders developing peer coaches or "movement leaders" throughout their companies to help usher in change. He provided some tactical examples of initiating support practices to help align business outcomes and did so in a way that was memorable, approachable, and got all of us closer to the "why" to take our talent management practices to the next level.

I received positive feedback from a number of our members who attended your break-out session. Some of the comments: "Wish he would have had more time on the program." "Funny, engaging, relevant." "Brings a different industry perspective to our group." " Can we have him back next year?"

Thank you for helping us with our conference and we will certainly discuss with our planning committee a return visit for you to Indianapolis in 2019.

I run a very fast paced and progressive sales and marketing team.  We invited Mr. James Rosseau to speak to about 2,000 of our leaders from all across North America, it was a very diverse group.

We were amazed at James' ability to speak to such a large organization as if he was speaking to them individually.  We were also amazed at how he took the audience on an emotional roller-coaster.  They laughed, they cried and they celebrated their small wins and their big wins.

We want to thank Mr. Rosseau for coming and speaking at our conference.  Thank you for maximizing the potential and production of our organization.  We want to thank you for giving our organization permission to have Success On Our Own Terms.

James delivered an outstanding presentation on how to build great teams for my cohort at Kellogg. What stood out for me was James' five inherent challenges that derail teams. I printed those out and now reflect on them daily. The impact was profound on both my professional and personal life.

We were so excited this summer, we hired James Rosseau to be a motivated speaker at our team retreat.  It was fantastic, he was not only humorous, engaging, educational and entertaining.  My favorite thing was his authenticity - - he was just so real.

All of us have challenges in our lives and we can use those as excuses, but he uses those as reasons to overcome.  This inspiration was huge for our sales force.

I would highly recommend that people that are looking for an incredible speaker to motivate their teams hire Mr. James Rosseau.
