It is not uncommon for us to begin to back off at a bit during the last stretch of running towards the finish line. In some cases we may coast a bit with the thought of “good enough,” and in other cases we may totally take our foot off the peddle and give up.
It starts with our thoughts. Have the idea the from the onset, when setting your goals, that you are in it for the long-haul; that you persist and keep the pace until you get to; no, in fact, until you run through – – the finish line!
